Ryan serves as the Assistant General Counsel for Moody Global Ministries, a ministry that exists to equip people through education (Moody Bible Institute), publishing (Moody Publishers), and radio (Moody Radio) with the truth of God’s Word to be maturing followers of Christ. Prior to working for Moody, Ryan was a Litigation Associate at Winston & Strawn LLP, an international law firm based in Chicago.
Ryan received a B.A. in Political Science and Business/Economics from Wheaton College in 2008 and a J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2012. Ryan lives with his wife Heather and daughter Grace in the Old Irving Park neighborhood in Chicago. They attend and are active in The Moody Church.
Bob Petty is the Director for Multiplication, Midwest C&MA. He leads the District’s current missional efforts challenging churches to become more actively involved in missional work in their respective communities.
Scott is the founder, President and Executive Director of Family Empowerment Centers and its daughter organization Donate Your Boat, SMLLC. Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Management with an emphasis in Psychology from Nyack College. Scott completed his Masters degree from Wheaton Graduate School in Mission and Intercultural Studies. Scott had been part of a team of individuals who started a church in the Bronx, New York and held the position of Youth and Families Pastor. During that time Scott also operated in the role of general manager for a small business in New York City for a period of 4 years prior to beginning FECC. Scott is currently a licensed minister within the Christian and Missionary Alliance. Scott is married with four children Hope, Chase, Faith, and Matthew.
Tony is the Chief Financial Officer of Metrolift Inc., Chicagoland’s leading full service supplier of aerial lifts and related services. Prior to this Tony was the CFO of Bloch Lumber Company (a national wholesale/distributor of commodity building products) and has been in that position since 2002 and works out of their downtown Chicago office. Tony graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and passed the CPA exam in 1992. He has been involved in financial oversight since that time at a number of companies in San Diego and Chicago. Tony served on the board of the Champaign County Habitat Humanity in Champaign, Illinois in the Mid 90’s serving as its treasurer. Tony and his wife (Cindy) are active members of Christ Community Church (a multi-site church, based in St. Charles, IL) where Tony serves as an Elder and the chairman of Trustees. Tony and Cindy have two children, Zach and Avery.
For 25 years Glenn was employed with Walgreens Drug Stores, primarily working in store management and corporate purchasing. Most recently he worked as a National Account Manager, representing the products for several manufacturers to the Walgreens Company. Glenn graduated from Vanguard University of Southern California in 1980 with a BA degree in Business Administration. He lives in Wheaton, IL with his wife and they have two sons.
Jane serves as a Vice President of Compliance with Zurich North America, a large global insurance company. She has been in this position since 2012. Prior to Zurich, she worked at Allstate and CNA in marketing and distribution roles. She received a BS in Business from Butler University and a Masters in Business from Indiana University, South Bend. She also holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation. Jane is married and lives with her husband Tim in Naperville for just over 20 years. Prior to Naperville, she has lived in California, Michigan, Minnesota, and Indiana. Jane and Tim have one married daughter. They are members at Wellspring Alliance Church in Wheaton. Jane currently serves on the Personnel Committee, works in Children’s Ministry, and in the past served on the Governing Board. Jane also served on the Board of Directors of the United Way, DuPage/West Cook
Eric is an owner and co-president of Itasca Plastics, a plastics manufacturing company in St. Charles Illinois. He graduated from Wheaton College with a degree in Business and Economics and has grown up and lived in the western suburbs of Chicago his whole life. Eric and his wife Janelle attend College Church in Wheaton and have 3 kids, James, Tessa and Jacob. He has served on the board of Family Empowerment centers since 2010.
Dale founded Showalter Roofing Service in 1979 and continues to operate today with a mission of forming lifelong relationships within our community, built on trust, caring for all in a way that provides peace of mind and a sense of security. He has been a member of the Blanchard Alliance Church in Wheaton for 45 years, and just recently merged with Living Water Alliance Church to form Wellspring Alliance Church, a cross-cultural, ethnically diverse depiction of the body of Christ. Dale graduated from Wheaton College in 1972 with a BA degree in Christian Education. He lives in the western suburbs of Chicago with his wife Kim, of 45 years. He has two married children and 4 grandchildren who bring great enjoyment to his life
Jonathan holds a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute, a Bachelor of Arts degree from Trinity International University in Interpersonal and Group Communication. In 2005 he received a Masters of Arts degree in Ministry Leadership through Crown College. Jon is currently the District Superintendent for the Midwest District of The Christian and Missionary Alliance and previously served as the Church Planting Director. As the church planting director, he was responsible for assisting in the startup phase for new churches within the denomination. Prior to that Jon served as the Director of Administrative Services for the Midwest District and as an Associate Pastor of Hope Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. Jon is a licensed and ordained minister within The Christian and Missionary Alliance. Jon serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the South Asian Friendship Center, a Chicago based ministry. Before entering vocational ministry in 1993, Jon was employed by three different corporations over an eighteen year period in a variety of sales, marketing, and management positions. Jon’s administrative background and his concern and passion for holistic ministry brings a wide range of experience and expertise to Family Empowerment Centers of Chicago. Jonathan is married with three daughters.
